Testers
We design and develop custom test systems with emphasis on human engineering, low cost and special engineering and production requirements. The testers we designed integrate existing commercially available components whenever possible and generally center around data storage or magnetic recording technology. Statistical process control features are typically included.
Recent examples are data storage test systems incorporating tape and disk drives. Modifications and support systems allow analysis of important characteristics like error rates, signal amplitude and similar parameters in a production line environment.
Electro-mechanical testers to measure tape tension, gap alignment on heads and other features are part of this device group. We designed and built:
